December Farley & Looking For Fresh Eyes

Love hooking up with Farley at Oh Boy 4th Grade!

And - I am working on a Common Core Reading Workshop pack called "Building S.T.A.R. Readers - Study Think Ask Respond" and I'd love some fresh eyes to look it over and give suggestions/feedback.  If you'd like to be my fresh eyes please comment below, (leaving your email address AND the grade(s) you teach) if you can get me some feedback by Saturday, December 8th. Once the unit is complete I'll send you the final version as a thank you! :)

I'll choose from the commenters and send out the unit by Tuesday. Thanks so much!

Here's a little preview of part of it (Pardon the odd formatting of the pictures...I just can't figure that out on blogger):

  1. If you find that person to take care of all of the menu planning, grocery shopping, and cooking, let me know!!

  3. I would love to check out your Readers Workshop STAR Readers pack. I am currently a first grade teacher and PA certified reading specialist who loves to read current research on reading. Our school has recently gone to a readers workshop approach, and I've been making some rubrics, etc. to use with my students (not even close to selling anything anytime soon). I want some fresh ideas.

  4. I love "Elf." Smiling is my favorite! I owe my husband BIG TIME this summer because he has done the grocery shopping for most of this school year! Your RAK is a good one! I should do that.
I'd love to look over your unit. I teach K/1 ELA with infused Sc & SS.

  8. Wow, the unit looks fantastic so far, Lisa! It looks like you've got a lot of volunteers already, but if you need another I'd be happy to help. kamp.linda@gmail.com. I teach 2nd grade so I'm not sure if you might rather have firsties look it over.

Oh, how I'd love someone to grocery shop and cook at my house! I'd just be happy if the cleaning fairies would come!!

  14. Those star items are adorable!

And I don't even want to think about the next three weeks... the shopping aspect alone is stressing me out, and I haven't even thought about wrapping everything! Yikes!

  16. Wow, Lisa, your STAR reader pack looks great already! It seems like you have many offers already, but I would certainly love to proofread for you. I'm a gr. 1-5 reading specialist now, but I taught first grade for many years prior to my new position.

BTW...I love your RAK! What a super way to boost morale at school!
